Tour Summary
Rajasthan. The 'Land of Kings.' A place where you'll probably share the road with camels, cows, and maybe even a vintage car or two. It's a full-on immersion into the colour and chaos of India, and the best way to see it all is from the saddle of a Royal Enfield.
We've planned a route that connects the dots between the massive forts and palaces of the Maharajas. Let's be honest, a lot of the riding is on straight, smooth highways – perfect for covering ground. But wherever we can, we'll dive down dusty backroads to see what village life is really like. And at the end of the day, you won't be staying in a generic hotel; you'll be sleeping in incredible heritage properties.
Our experience has taught us something crucial: you don't come to Rajasthan just for the ride. You come for the destinations. That’s why we’ve built this tour with a deliberately relaxed pace and plenty of time off the bike. It's the only way to properly explore the forts, get lost in the markets, and actually enjoy the places you've ridden so far to see.

Detailed Day-by-Day Itinerary
- Ride distance: 0 km
- Welcome to Delhi. We’ll have a driver waiting to pick you up from the airport and bring you to our hotel. Your only job today is to land, check in, and shake off the jet lag. We’ll all meet up in the evening for a full briefing on the ride ahead and go for a welcome dinner.
- Ride distance: Approx. 260 km
- The ride begins. We’ll get you set up on your Royal Enfield and then put our years of experience to the test navigating out of the Delhi sprawl. Today is mostly about covering ground on the highway and getting into the rhythm of Indian road life. Our destination is Mandawa, a small town famous for its ornate, painted havelis.
- Ride distance: Approx. 190 km
- A more relaxed ride today. We’ll spend the morning exploring Mandawa’s incredible havelis on foot before hitting the road for Bikaner. The landscape starts to flatten out, the trees get smaller, and you begin to feel the true expanse of the Thar Desert.
- Ride distance: Approx. 330 km
- This is our longest day in the saddle. It’s a long, straight, and almost hypnotic ride deeper into the desert. There’s no getting around it—this is a day for eating up miles. The reward is the legendary “Golden City,” Jaisalmer. Seeing its massive fort appear on the horizon is a moment you won’t forget.
- Ride distance: 0 km
- A full day off the bikes here is non-negotiable. Jaisalmer’s fort is a living city, and the best way to see it is to get lost in its maze of narrow alleys. In the evening, you’ll have the option to do the classic tourist thing and take a camel safari into the Sam Sand Dunes. It’s a classic for a reason.
- Ride distance: Approx. 285 km
- Back on the road, we head east towards Jodhpur. It’s another day of desert highway riding, punctuated by small villages and the occasional camel herd. Our destination is the “Blue City,” famous for the sea of blue-painted houses surrounding one of India’s most impressive forts.
- Ride distance: 0 km
- Another day off the bikes to dive into the city. The main event is a visit to the colossal Mehrangarh Fort, which absolutely dominates the skyline. The afternoon is free to brave the brilliant chaos of the Sardar Market and its iconic clock tower.
- Ride distance: Approx. 160 km
- A relaxed morning ride takes us south from the Blue City and into a completely different landscape. The Aravalli Hills here are a playground of ancient granite rock formations. We’ll arrive at our luxury camp in the Jawai wilderness by early afternoon, with plenty of time to get ready for the main event: a thrilling evening jeep safari to spot the region’s famously elusive leopards.
- Ride distance: Approx. 140 km
- You’ll have the option for an early morning safari for one more chance to spot wildlife. After breakfast, we get back on the bikes for a beautiful ride through the Aravalli hills towards Udaipur. We’ll make a major stop at the magnificent Ranakpur Jain Temple—an incredible complex of intricately carved white marble that has to be seen to be believed—before hitting the final scenic stretch into the “City of Lakes.”
- Ride distance: 0 km
- A full day off the bikes to recharge and explore what many call India’s most beautiful city. The agenda is yours: take a boat out on Lake Pichola, get lost in the sprawling City Palace complex, or just find a rooftop cafe with a view and do absolutely nothing. Udaipur is the perfect place for it.
- Ride distance: Approx. 280 km
- Time to cover some ground. This is a full day of riding as we head north-east out of the Aravalli hills and back onto the Rajasthani plains. The route is mostly good national highways, making it a solid day for cruising. Our destination is the holy city of Pushkar, a small town with a uniquely spiritual and laid-back vibe.
- Ride distance: Approx. 150 km
- After a final morning in Pushkar, we hit the road for the bustling capital of Rajasthan, Jaipur. It’s a straightforward highway ride that will get us into the “Pink City” with time to check in and prepare for a full day of exploring tomorrow.
- Ride distance: 0 km
- A full day to explore the highlights of Jaipur. We’ll visit the magnificent Amber Fort just outside the city, the honeycomb-like Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), and the sprawling City Palace complex right in the heart of the old town.
- Ride distance: Approx. 240 km
- Today is a transit day. We leave Rajasthan behind and hit the highway towards Agra, the former capital of the Mughal Empire. The goal is to get there, check in, and get ready for the grand finale tomorrow morning.
- Ride distance: 0 km
- An early start is essential for a sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal to see it in the best light. After spending the morning at this bucket-list monument, you’ll be transferred back to Delhi in a comfortable private vehicle, where our grand expedition concludes.
